To usher in the holidays, on Thursday, November 21st McSweeney & Ricci employees in all offices (Braintree, Marshfield and Cohasset), were treated to a “Works Giving” feast of Chinese food.
The Managers and Executive Board wanted to show their appreciation of employees. Tim Hall, Principal and COO and Vice President of Commercial Lines, Nancy Matanes decided they would treat the staff to “Works Giving.” “Works Giving” would be an occasion where staff could gather, to enjoy a special meal and conversation to celebrate the upcoming holidays. Chinese food was served instead of a traditional Thanksgiving meal, to allow everyone to look forward to “turkey and all the fixings” on the actual holiday. Homemade chocolate chip cookies and of course, fortune cookies were served for dessert.
Everyone enjoyed their meal and the opportunity to spend time together in a relaxed setting. Employees shared their plans for the upcoming holiday, while Adam Sandler’s “Thanksgiving Song” played in the background.
Next week McSweeney & Ricci is sending each employee home with a delicious pie from Veronica’s Sweetcakes bakery in Marshfield.
COO and Principal Tim Hall reflected, “myself and the rest of the management team, wanted to show our appreciation and feel it’s important to let the staff know how much we truly value their contribution, not only during the holidays but throughout the year!”
