On Tuesday, March 10th we held a party to wish Happy Retirement to Senior Sales Executive, Sandi Cohen. Sandi has been with McSweeney & Ricci for the past 16 years! The party was held at our main office in Braintree, Massachusetts. A delicious catered lunch including toasted ravioli, meatballs, stuffed shells salad and chicken broccoli ziti was served by the Chateau and her a beautiful tropical-themed cake was made by Veronica’s Sweetcakes in Marshfield.
President, Mary Lou Ricci presented Sandi with a bottle of her favorite wine, a tawny port, aged twenty years as well as a gold bracelet from King Jewelers in Cohasset. Mary Lou said, “Sandi helped blaze the trails for women in the workforce. Sandi is driven, dedicated, and professional while holding tight to her convictions. No one works harder for their clients. She will be missed by all of us.”
Sandi is dedicated to her close knit family and enjoys traveling (especially to Barbados) and when asked what her plans are for the future she replied:
“I plan to travel internationally for a few years once travel is safe again and then switch to in country travels. And of course, travels to New Jersey to see my family there, especially my older grandson graduating from high school in June. My other activities will continue with more energy towards local and state politics (and a bit of national too), social action causes and possibly mentoring younger women in the professional and political areas. And then there is always my exercising to keep my energy high to keep going. I won’t be sitting around for sure!”
Sandi is currently working to make sure all of her accounts have a smooth transition. We will all miss Sandi around the office but are happy that she has promised to visit regularly.
