All commercial registration plates will expire soon. Each year trailer plates expire on the last day of November and commercial plates all expire the last day of December. Avoid the rush by renewing now. Follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth and easy renewal process.
Registration Renewal Tips:
Make sure you receive a registration card for all of the commercial vehicles you own.
Remember to sign the back of the registration.
If your renewal card reads “No Stamp Necessary” you can mail the card directly to the registry with your payment made payable to “MA DOT”, or you can renew online.
Under the following circumstances, mail your cards and checks to us, or bring them to the McSweeney & Ricci office that is most convenient for you:
- If your renewal card needs to be stamped, sign the back of each card and include a check payable to McSweeney & Ricci Insurance Agency.
- If your vehicle is over 55,000 lbs you will need to include a copy of the Heavy Vehicle Use Tax Return known as Form 2290.
